Durak Rules (Podkidnoy, 36 cards)

These are the classic podkidnoy rules used in our game. The rules are simplified for quick mobile play.

Basics

• A 36-card deck is used. Each player gets 6 cards. Trump suit is chosen from the last card.
• The attacker leads with one card. The defender must beat it with a higher card of the same suit or any trump.
• If the defender cannot or chooses not to beat, they take all cards on the table.
• Players replenish cards from the deck up to 6, attacker first.

Attack and Throw-ins

• After the first attack, the attacker may throw in cards of ranks already on the table.
• If the defender beats all cards, the defense is successful and the turn passes.
• If the defender takes, the attacker can add cards up to the defender’s hand limit.

Level Ladder

Each avatar has 5 levels. Every win advances one level, and a loss resets progress to 0.
